Job Purpose:

Support the bank’s daily treasury operations by monitoring liquidity, executing authorized treasury transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing treasury reports while ensuring compliance with approved limits and procedures.

Position : Treasury Officer

Department : Treasury Department

Reports to : Treasury Manager/CFO

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily foreign exchange rate updates and publish them in the customer service system;
• Assist with the bank’s investment and securities transactions;
• Daily monitor balances with nostro/vostro accounts;
• Assist in managing interbank placements and borrowings;
• Monitor foreign-currency positions and exchange-rate movements;
• Prepare daily treasury reports for the Treasury Manager;
• Reconcile treasury transactions and bank accounts with Operations/Finance;
• Assist in liquidity forecasting and funding analysis;
• Support preparation of regulatory and internal treasury reports;
• Ensure all transactions comply with bank policies, procedures, delegated authorities, and regulatory requirements;
• Perform other treasury-related duties assigned by the Treasury Manager and the bank’s key management.

>Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• 1–2 years of relevant banking, treasury, finance, or financial-market experience;
• Good understanding of banking and treasury operations;
• Knowledge of FX, money markets, liquidity, and securities is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
